We have teamed up with Global Adventure Challenges, a UK-based challenge event company dedicated to creating life-changing challenge events for groups and individuals whilst raising money to support the Ickle Pickles Children's Charity. With a range of challenges to choose from you are sure to find something to suit your fitness levels, holiday plans and fundraising goals.
Here are a couple of popular events run by Global Adventure Challenges.
Trek Ben Nevis by day or by night!
This popular UK challenge takes you into the heart of the breathtaking Western Highlands in order to conquer the highest peak in Britain set at 1,345m above sea level. Try something a little bit different and trek Ben Nevis at night - guided only by torches and the stunning night sky!
Dalai Lama Trek
Explore the foothills of the Indian Himalayas! This five-day trek takes you through the Kingdom of Gaddi of semi-nomadic people who spend months wandering the high passes with their cattle. This journey has everything you could ever wish for from a trip to India.
Lapland Husky Trail Sled
If trekking is not for you there are a range of other events including an amazing opportunity to sled over 240km across Sweden through untouched nature, celebrating your achievements at the world-famous Ice Hotel. Watching the Northern Lights and tending to the dogs will give you an experience of living as the Laplanders do.
Camino De Santiago - 3 Day Trek
Join us on a classic Camino de Santiago experience – trekking the final 67km of the famous Camino Frances - the French Way. Starting in Palas de Rei, we begin our three-day trekking adventure along this popular pilgrimage route. We will trek through rolling green landscapes, traditional villages and picturesque woodlands on our way to Santiago, discovering local traditions and meeting fellow pilgrims along the way. Today the Camino is more than a pilgrimage, it is a remarkable journey and a unique experience. Our final destination is the magical Santiago Old Town, a wonderful UNESCO World Heritage site, home to the stunning Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela!
