The Royal London Hospital

We have worked briefly with The Royal London unit in the past purchasing lovely developmental care items such as Comforters and Baby Nests to help Mums and babies to bond through scent and feel secure in the nests when alone in their incubator.

We are delighted that in 2024 we are officially partnering with the neonatal team and actively fundraising together as part of our Ickle Pickles Pledge.

Current Appeal:

The Royal London Hospital NICU Staff are raising money to purchase 12 recliner chairs to have at each cotside to allow parents to have skin to skin time in comfort. These chairs are incredible popular and help with bonding, the baby's development, calming the baby and also milk production.

Number of Cots: 45

Babies treated per annum: Up to 500

Level 3 Unit: Deliveries of babies less than 27 weeks & in need of intensive care
