Ickle Pickles is delighted to have been awarded £4,000 from our grant application to the Green Hall Foundation whose objective is to sustainably improve lives among the sick and other disadvantaged people, particularly in the UK.

The grant will go towards Ickle Pickles’ current appeals for the neonatal unit at the Princess Anne Hospital in Southampton.

The team at the Princess Anne neonatal unit in Southampton have requested two saturation monitors.

The saturation monitors will help the neonatal teams assess blood oxygen, heart rate and CO2 levels of vulnerable and sick babies. The monitor will accompany a Resuscitaire bed in the theatre when caesarean sections are performed and enable neonatal staff to monitor the babies as they are being delivered and stabilised.

Ickle Pickles is thrilled to support the dedicated neonatal team at Princess Anne Hospital and thanks the Green Hall Foundation for their generous grant.

Anyone interested in raising funds through Ickle Pickles for this or another neonatal unit, please get in touch and discuss how you can get involved - the feeling of having made a tangible difference is simply incredible and very rewarding!
