We are delighted to announce that the Ickle Pickles children’s charity has been awarded a grant of £14,796 by the Openwork Foundation. The Openwork Foundation makes a difference to the lives of the vulnerable from newborn babies to people later in life. Ickle Pickles is grateful for another nomination and successful grant application to support our work and fund an Oxygen Saturation Monitor for the neonatal unit at the Princess Anne Hospital in Southampton. 

 

The team at Princess Anne Hospital have requested two Oxygen Saturation Monitors to help assess babies' blood oxygen levels, heart rate and CO2 levels at birth. We are thrilled to be able to donate both monitors thanks to the Openwork Foundation and individual fundraisers. Each monitor will accompany a Resuscitaire bed in the theatres when caesarean sections are performed and are crucial for monitoring patients.

 

A huge thank you to the Openwork Foundation and all our generous supporters for making the funding of vital equipment possible.
